Our themes are the cornerstone concepts of our curriculum that we want our children to understand, value and practice wisely. These concepts connect learning in every curriculum subject acting as bridges from the classroom to the world outside. They enable children to link their learning to real life, apply their learning to worthy tasks and develop the habits of mind that will prepare them for a purposeful flourishing life. They ensure the curriculum is broad, deep and meaningful to pupils as they gain cumulative knowledge which provides a strong basis for future learning.
