“Leaders have made sure that mathematics is prioritised from the Early Years onwards so that young children get off to a good start.” (Ofsted May 2021)
At Lady Margaret Primary School we are very proud of our nursery provision, ‘Remember – it’s not what we do for the children that is important – it’s what you teach them to do for themselves.’
We have a 78 place nursery, 39 in the morning 8.30am to 11.30am and 39 in the afternoon 12.30pm to 3.30pm. We admit pupils in the term after their 3rd birthday.
We have a number of extended day nursery places available. Parents can purchase additional hours so that children can attend from 8.30am to 3.30pm. These are offered on a first come first served basis and places are secured with a deposit. We also accept children who qualify for 30 hour funding.

Leaders and staff are ambitious for all pupils. They know the pupils and their families well. They plan the curriculum carefully to support all pupils to achieve well. (Ofsted May 2021)
Sometimes parents and carers decide to move their child to another school. Families also move into the area from elsewhere in the UK or from overseas. This type of admission is known as ‘in-year’ admissions.
We have a thorough induction programme for new pupils, to ensure your child will be welcomed into our school community and settle in quickly. We make sure the right support is in place, so your child will thrive.
Making the right decision for a school for your child is of the upmost importance. We encourage you to make an appointment to visit the school to hear about our rich curriculum and the range of opportunities open to your child.
